In September 2020, I designed and helped launch a welcomed feature for the Twitch community – the introduction of Viewer & Streamer messages.
The primary goals were: opt into more notifications, opt-out less often, increase reachability to streamers.

"My Twitch"
Viewers on Twitch will be able to have two distinct message experiences. Viewers can see a tab called “My Twitch” which shows viewer-related messages. When on twitch.tv, the inbox will prioritize messages for viewers.
"My Channel"
Creators can access their own messages on their Creator Dashboard. If a creator is on their dashboard, the inbox prioritizes messages for creators first.
